Mason Jar Centerpieces
The right lighting at a wedding reception can really bring out that “wow” factor, and mason jars work perfectly as candle holders and lanterns. If you like the lantern idea, I’ve posted an instructional video on how to make your own mason jar lanterns at the bottom of this post. If you choose to use them as candle holders, you can really play up the season by using a filler that pairs well, such as sand for a summer or beach wedding, Epsom salt to resemble snow for a winter wedding, or acorns for a fall wedding.
Consider incorporating mason jars into your theme from the very beginning. I’ve found the cutest mason jar themed wedding invitation from Wedding Paper Divas. It has a mason jar sketch filled with vintage paper straws on white textured paper - available in three color options.
